Equipment Cleanup | Clean all equipment thoroughly with clean water immediately after use. Spray machinery should receive a final rinse with Apollo Paints White Spirit to completely prevent rust buildup

Initial Surface Preparation: All target surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry, and thoroughly free from structural dust, grease, oils, or any loose materials. Localized cracks and defects should be fully filled with an appropriate crack filler, followed by a recommended primer.

Pro-Tip for Plastered Walls: For a perfectly smooth, uniform final finish, treat your walls with Apollo Paints skimming filler / Skim Coat before applying the undercoat layers.

New Unpainted Cement or Plaster Surfaces: Apply one uniform base coat of Apollo Paints Universal Undercoat or Apollo Paints Emulsion Undercoat. Follow up by applying 2–3 coats of Apollo Paints Silk Vinyl Emulsion or Vinyl Emulsion.

Previously Painted Surfaces: Completely clean the surface and remove any loose, flaking, or powdery materials. Apply one coat of Apollo Paints Universal Undercoat or Apollo Paints Emulsion Undercoat, followed by 2–3 coats of Apollo Paints Silk Vinyl Emulsion.

The 2-Coat Rule: When re-decorating surfaces using the same colors, two full coats are recommended for standard uniform coverage.

Deep Shade Notice: When overcoating a dark shade with a light color, 3 full coats may be required. On deep, vibrant shades (like bright Reds, Greens, and Oranges), expect to apply an additional coat as these specialized pigments naturally possess lower structural opacity.

Painter Guidelines: Stir the paint thoroughly before and during use. Always use a good quality brush, try to paint in one smooth continuous motion, and always execute a pretest on a small area first.

Temperature Limitation: Do not attempt application when air or surface temperatures drop below 10°C.

Workspace Air Quality: Guarantee excellent, continuous ventilation throughout both the application and structural drying phases.

Storage Protocols: Store the product under ambient conditions in well-ventilated locations completely away from any source of ignition, open flames, or fire. Protect the container from freezing conditions.

Personal Protection: Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Avoid skin and eye contact. In case of accidental skin or eye contact, flush instantly with plenty of clean water and seek professional medical advice if symptoms persist. Do not inhale or inject; immediately move to fresh air if inhalation occurs and seek medical attention.

Fungal Defenses: In high-humidity climates or damp areas, scrub the surface with a recommended bio-wash solution to remove existing surface fungus growth, fungal spores, and mould before applying the new paint system.

Stain Maintenance & Cleaning: The best practice for removing wall stains is to remove them immediately. For removing stains, sponge clean using a mild soap or detergent solution and wipe clean. Crucial Instruction: For better washability performance, ensure the newly painted surface has dried and cured for at least 1 full week before attempting wet cleaning.
